What is Private Staking? Private Staking is setup for members of StealingBlinds.com to be able to setup a thread to stake a friend or fellow member. A private staking arrangement usually occurs via communication between a Staker and a Horse. Once that communication occurs and an agreement is made, the Staker will post a thread in this forum explaining the guidelines and the terms of the arrangements of the stake. The horse who agreed to the stake will then apply and agree in a reply to the staker that he accepts the terms and conditions imposed.
If the Horse agrees to the stakers arrangement, then the Horse must follow the exact conditions of the private stake as asked by the staker. Failing to do so can result in an infraction and/or Ban from StealingBlinds.com. It will be the stakers responsibility to ensure the horse is following their guidelines for the stake. If a horse is not meeting the requirements of the stake then the staker will need to post in the Horse Complaints Thread (
http://www.www.www.stealingblinds.com/f19-horse-complaints ) if the staker can not handle the situation themself.
What is a Proper Private Staking Post? A Private staking post will entail the following:
Topic of post- Example:
"Private Stake for Admin"
Body of post- Example:
Name of Horse / Amount being Staked / Buy In Rules / Length of Stake / Horses profit % / Stakers profit % / Stakeback
Who Should You Stake? Staking a certain horse that you do not know personally can be a daring task. How can you trust someone you have never met before? Well to ease the Pain and feel more comfortable doing so, get to know the person prior to staking (Start with a micro stake and work your way up levels). Do you homework; Google their known Screen Names, use
www.officialpokerrankings.com to check out their history. There is a lot of resources available on the internet that you can find out any and all information you need to know about someone. If you are in doubt, dont feel pressured to stake someone, wait until you feel comfortable with that horse before making arrangements.
*Please note that Stealing Blinds will not be responsible for any player's portion of the stake that is not returned to the original investor/staker. Invest in horses you know and can trust to minimize theft*StealingBlinds.com Admin
